Yes!! Ranked choice voting gives all of us both the ability to vote for the candidate of our choice regardless of how likely they are to win and come together with our community on a consensus candidate. So much better for representation.
I've been pleased so far with the RCV process since the '21 NYC Democratic mayoral primary.
However, Mamdani having two cross endorsements (let alone witnessing a single cross endorsement) was a plot-twist I just didn't expect for some reason.
What's next? Three's company? Four's a crowd? With the 13 point lead he had against Cuomo, I'm now very curious how the rank choice voting landscape will evolve - if at all.
